Imagine a caterpillar, telling his fellow friends…
You won’t be charged a dime, he explains, it will be worth the time you spend.
Just trust me, he says, there is a way out of this cocoon.
No matter who you are, you qualify, it’s a gift that can’t be earned.
He tells them, there is more out there than what meets the eye.
You can hold on through the darkness, he promises, it’s ok to cry.
The outside noise can be too loud to identify or comprehend.
The real work needs to be done inside, there are better things to defend.
You may feel alone at times, full of doubt and regret.
You can forgive yourself and be forgiven, you can wash away your debt.
The light of the Son is always there, but he warns, the shadows can wrap you like a blanket.
You can’t control your circumstances, he informs, but you can control their effect.
You don’t have to live alone, he explains, you can choose to give in and die.
Or, you can choose to believe in Him, he proclaims, then you will be given wings to fly 🦋
